There are many situations where you can save your brakes. Here are a few.
Save your brakes
In traffic, if you do not “stick” to the car in front of you, you can release the gas pedal and do not necessarily slow down immediately. A slower speed will allow you to catch up with the traffic jam at a time when it will move forward.
If you have to stop at a stop sign or a red light on a path uphill, learn to release the gas pedal before you arrive virtually at a standstill in the right place.
In Highway, keep your distance and keep a constant speed. So if you see the car in front of you unexpectedly slow (as is often the case), you will not have to do the same: there is no reason to slow down on the highway in a straight line or curve if the rules are observed, and no danger zone or slowdown is in sight.
