Cold weather and temperatures are announced in certain regions of France and Europe. Here are our advice to not end up frozen. Check your diesel level when it’ cold.

WHAT HAPPENS WITH YOUR DIESEL WHEN IT’S COLD

Cold engines, frozen cars? If you are driving a diesel-powered vehicle in geographic areas at risk of frost, add a product to the fuel to prevent it from freezing. The formation of paraffin because of the cold would  prevent the fuel from flowing in the pipes.

More and more petrol stations are distributing “cold” fuel which is actually fit for temperatures reaching minus 17/18 degrees Celsius – or even up (or down in fact) to minus 23 degrees C.
