Since the update of apple to iOS 13, the management rules and permissions to use the position signal (GPS) have changed. In the past, we had the choice between:
- Never allow
- Allow when app is active
- Always allow
Since iOS 13 the possible choices are :
- Allow when the app is active
- Allow once
- Refuse
If you want to use eiver’s “Autoplay” function, i.e. to allow eiver to automatically detect and record your journeys without manipulation, even in the background, you have to choose the option: “Always”. To be sure of your move, go to the “Settings” of your iPhone, scroll to select the settings of the app “eiver”, select “Position”, then “Always”.
