MAINTAINING YOUR ENGINE<\/h2>\n

The engine of a hybrid vehicle combines both a combustion engine and an electric motor. The internal combustion engine, which also helps recharge the battery, requires regular draining. Its maintenance varies according to the brand and model of the vehicle, but also according to your frequency of use and your driving habits<\/a>. For more functional maintenance, please refer to your maintenance booklet provided by the manufacturer.<\/p>\n

Caution<\/strong>: although technological innovation allows for improved battery performance, be careful about rapid and too frequent recharging. Indeed, this considerably reduces the life of your battery.<\/p>\n

MAINTENANCE OF PARTS<\/h2>\n

The main advantage of dual motorisation is the savings in maintenance costs. In fact, the combination of two energy sources makes it possible to reduce the wear and tear of certain parts because they are not subject to much stress. Thus, parts such as the starter and alternator do not require regular maintenance. In addition, the service life of the brakes is extended thanks to the more powerful deceleration of the electric motor, which limits their wear. That’s why responsible driving allows you to benefit from even greater savings on your brake pads.<\/p>\n
