eiver is now a signatory to the United Nations climate charter<\/a>, “Climate Neutral Now (CNNow)”<\/a>. Explanations.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

This charter, managed and administered by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change<\/a> (UNFCCC) is an initiative launched in 2015 to encourage everybody to take action to help create a climate-neutral world by the middle of the century, as provided for in the Paris Agreement. Already in 2015, eiver (under the name SaveCode SAS, if you look for us in the article below) had been distinguished among the 150 startups selected for their responsible commitment<\/a>at the Paris Climate Convention (COP 21). It was therefore logical that we should go further in the process.<\/p>\n

And as we all know, there is an emergency: to avoid the worst effects of climate change, science tells us that we must limit the increase in global temperature between 1.5 and 2 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels. To achieve this objective, relying solely on government action will not be enough. So we all have a role to play. We have already reached 1.1 degrees Celsius of global warming. We could reach 1.5 by 2030. So we need urgent action! and eiver takes its share.<\/p>\n

Our mission: reduce the impact now<\/h3>\n

eiver offers solutions available today to reduce the impact of ground transportation (car \/ truck \/ bus) with a driver assistance application that rewards responsible driving. And this without complicated equipment, only thanks to a smartphone and a free mobile app. The numbers are starting to speak for themselves. Since the creation of our solution, developed and deployed under various brands for our major customers, but also under our colours for private motorists in Europe, eiver has saved more than 2,000 tonnes of CO2, particularly on everyday journeys, in areas not served by other modes of transport. Obviously not everyone can choose their mode of transport every morning and almost 80% of European territory is served only by cars and heavy goods vehicles.<\/p>\n
