The good usage of air conditioning<\/h3>\n

The first thing to do is to use air condition<\/strong>ing<\/strong><\/a> as a last resort because it consumes about 1 liter of fuel every 100 km. However, lowering the windows on the highway would prove counterproductive because the car loses its aerodynamics. In summer, do not start your ride with the air con on. Differences in temperature may damage the system and your windshield if it is weakened. When starting, lower the windows and roll a few with windows open to ventilate. In town, pollution will quickly force you to close the windows. In this case, position your air con system 5 degrees below the outdoor temperature, no more.<\/p>\n

As soon as you get out of a built-up area and you can switch the maximum speed ratio, it’s as you want: either moderate climates or wide open windows.<\/p>\n

La clim, on ne peut plus s\u2019en passer en \u00e9t\u00e9. Et si on l\u2019utilisait en mode \u00ab\u00a0responsable\u00a0\u00bb ?<\/h3>

La\u00a0clim<\/a>. Il faut d\u2019abord veiller \u00e0 l\u2019utiliser en dernier recourt car elle consomme environ 1 litre de carburant tous les 100 km. Cependant, baisser les vitres sur l\u2019autoroute s\u2019av\u00e8rerait contre-productif car la voiture perd de son a\u00e9rodynamisme.<\/p>

Ne d\u00e9marrez surtout pas avec la clim \u00e0 fond. Les diff\u00e9rences de temp\u00e9rature risquent d\u2019endommager le syst\u00e8me et votre pare brise s\u2019il est fragilis\u00e9. Au d\u00e9marrage, baissez les vitres et roulez un peu vitres ouvertes pour a\u00e9rer. En ville, la pollution va vite vous forcer \u00e0 fermer les vitres. Dans ce cas, positionnez votre clim \u00e0 5 degr\u00e9s de moins que la temp\u00e9rature ext\u00e9rieure, pas plus. D\u00e8s que vous sortez d\u2019une agglom\u00e9ration et que vous pouvez passer le rapport de vitesse maxi, c\u2019est comme vous voulez : soit clim mod\u00e9r\u00e9e, soit fen\u00eatres grandes ouvertes.<\/p>
