Minimize the stress in slow traffic<\/h3>\n
It started yesterday really hard and it may even last until \u00a0today evening. To help you minimize the stress in slowdowns or congestion, we suggest you follow these few tips.<\/p>\n
When a downturn is announced it is useless to arrive “as a bomb” on the line that begins to slow down. Look ahead and anticipate. Start downshift and use the engine brake to apply the brakes as little as possible. Deceleration is more gradual, the more you preserve the rolling equipment\u00a0and keep good control of your behavior.<\/p>\n
Well, once it is stopped, take it patiently. When you see that the queue next to yours restarts, it is useless to change lanes. This will disrupt traffic and you will force others behind you to stop their restart. This situation causes traffic complications almost always. Avoid them as much as possible.<\/p>\n
When your file restarts, try to see as far as possible before you. If the traffic jam is over and the view is unobstructed, restart and resume normal speed gradually always keeping your safety distances.<\/p>\n
If, however, the slowdown is still there and you see cars before you stopping again 300 or 500 m away, take the opportunity to restart slowly advancing only without pressing the accelerator and by engaging in first. You will gradually fill the space in front of you and the cars that follow will do the same. With any luck, by the time you catch up the car at the stop away, it will start and you can keep your (small) speed.<\/p>\n

Les ralentissements qui entrainent de longs embouteillages, nous les m\u00e9disons tous... Pour que tout se passe bien et que personne ne perde patience, nous vous donnons quelques conseils de conduite !<\/h2>
Pour vous permettre de stresser le moins possible dans les ralentissements voire les embouteillages, on vous propose de suivre ces quelques petits conseils.<\/p>
Quand un ralentissement est annonc\u00e9 il ne sert \u00e0 rien d'arriver \"pleine bombe\" sur la file qui commence \u00e0 ralentir. Regardez loin devant et anticipez. Commencez \u00e0 r\u00e9trograder et utilisez le frein moteur pour solliciter les freins le moins possible. Plus la d\u00e9c\u00e9l\u00e9ration est progressive, plus vous pr\u00e9servez les \u00e9quipements roulants du v\u00e9hicule et conservez une bonne maitrise de votre conduite.<\/p>
Bon, une fois que l'on est arr\u00eat\u00e9, il faut prendre son mal en patience. Quand vous voyez que la file d'\u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 red\u00e9marre, il ne sert \u00e0 rien de changer de file. Cela va d\u00e9sorganiser le trafic et vous allez forcer d'autres derri\u00e8re vous \u00e0 stopper net leur red\u00e9marrage. Ce type de situation provoque presque syst\u00e9matiquement des complications de trafic. Evitez-les le plus possible.<\/p>
Quand votre file red\u00e9marre, essayez de voir le plus loin possible devant vous. Si le bouchon est termin\u00e9 et que la vue est d\u00e9gag\u00e9e, red\u00e9marrez normalement et reprenez de la vitesse progressivement toujours en conservant vos distances de s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/p>
Si en revanche, le ralentissement est toujours l\u00e0 et que vous voyez \u00e0 nouveau les voitures devant vous s'arr\u00eater 300 ou 500 m plus loin, profitez-en pour red\u00e9marrer tout doucement en avan\u00e7ant \u00e0 peine sans appuyer sur l'acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur et en embrayant en premi\u00e8re. Vous allez petit \u00e0 petit combler l'espace devant vous et les voitures qui vont suivre vont faire de m\u00eame. Avec un peu de chance, le temps que vous rattrapiez la voiture \u00e0 l'arr\u00eat plus loin, celle-ci va repartir et vous pourrez conserver votre (petite) vitesse.<\/p>
Bien s\u00fbr ce conseil ne fonctionne que si tout le monde l'applique et si une voiture change de file, devant vous, cela ne marche pas.
