THE TWO TYPES OF ROUNDABOUT IN FRANCE<\/h3>\n

On the first, the driver already on the roundabout has priority. The signs “give way” located at the “entrance” of the roundabout help to know.<\/p>\n

On the second type, which tends to disappear, the special feature is that priority is given to the vehicle coming, from the right; rather it’s a place like the famous “Place de l’\u00c9toile” in Paris. (A place which most drivers would rather avoid).<\/p>\n

HOW TO TAKE A ROUNDABOUT ?<\/h3>\n

When approaching<\/a> the roundabout, I brake, I move gears down, I keep the foot on the brake and I make the decision to enter – or not. It is at this point that it is necessary to be\u00a0careful and pay attention to all types of drivers, vehicles, motorcycles or even bikes that are less visible!
Before committing, I must give way to the users already driving on the ring (roundabout). And, more importantly,\u00a0it is France, drive on the right hand side of the road.<\/p>\n
